official cycle of meetings with Patient Organizations, aimed at strengthening cooperation, raising awareness, and optimizing the quality of healthcare services, a meeting was held in the presence of the Patient Advocate, Mr. Marios Charalambidis, and his office staff, with a delegation of our Association, the Pan-Cyprian Association of Pulmonary Patients \u2695\ufe0f\ud83c\udf10<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd38\ufe0f During the meeting, important issues concerning individuals with chronic rare respiratory diseases were discussed, and the psychosocial support program \"Pnoi\" (Breath), which was inaugurated for the first time this year, was presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd39\ufe0f During the meeting, our Association presented its main priorities, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>- The need to strengthen primary and specialized care services<br>- Improving access to modern treatments and diagnostic examinations<br>- Strengthening prevention and early diagnosis programs, such as the lung cancer screening program<br>- Systematic patient education and training for self-management of their conditions<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udd39\ufe0f The meeting concluded in a spirit of cooperation, with a mutual agreement to plan actions that will contribute to improving the quality of life of individuals with chronic and rare diseases, as well as raising public awareness about organ
